If our Brew-BQ contest taught me anything, it's that you guys are quite the gourmands! Lately my recipes have all required a bit of work to make, so, I figured that this weekend I'd let you guys off easy. What we've got is a twist on a delightfully simple recipe submitted to us by a one Ivan Gregori for an Affogato al Caffe. While Ivan's original recipe called for Vanilla ice cream, we wound up using Rocky Road. To make your own Rocky Road Affogato al Caffe you're going to need:
So did I say this recipe was easy? More like, the most grueling culinary endeavor ever! Just kidding. Start by adding one scoop of ice cream into a bowl (or a mug if you're cool like us). Sprinkle your chocolate and your marshmallows on top of the ice cream and then brew a shot of espresso. When you've pulled your shot, pour it over your ice cream, grab a spoon, and enjoy!
