There seven different Mazzer mini grinders listed on your site. What are the differences?
The primary differences in the Mazzer Mini models are the Type A/B function and the size/speed of the burr. The hopper sizes may also vary with each model, however, they are all interchangeable.
The Mazzer Minis come in three configurations:
• 58mm Mazzer Mini Flat Burr Espresso Grinder with a physical doser on the front and has the manual action lever for the grounds dispenser. There is a screw adjustment on the base to control the amount of coffee dispensed.
• 64mm Mazzer Mini Electronic Type A Espresso Grinder with programmable dosing functionality atop a funnel,
• 64mm Mazzer Mini Electronic Type B Espresso Grinder has the automatic coffee dispenser with programmable adjustment to control the amount of coffee dispensed. Also includes a ‘bump button’ where you can tap the portafilter on the base to dispense the grounds (instead of pressing the buttons on top). Bump once for single and bump twice for double.
Rocket branded Mazzers are only available in the Mini E Type A configuration in polished stainless or black finish.
There is also a newer Mini P model that is the same model with a stout hopper. It is made to fit under standard kitchen cabinets but still hold 1lb of beans.
Thanks for the question
You have three Mazzer Mini's. The standard silver one, the black one and the polished Mazzer Mini P. They have adjustable dosers on the front and 58mm Flat burrs. The next models are the Electronic Mini's. You have the type A with the adjustments for grind time on the top controlled electronically. The type B has two adjustable flat head screws located where the portafilter holder is to adjust grind time for the single and double shot. They are doserless with 64mm flat burrs. They come in two different ways: polished Type A or Type B with a Rocket logo on them or they come in the standard silver finish for the Type A or Type B.
