I purchased this basket and I used with the suggested quantity of about 7 grams. The problem is that using the 58mm tamper it seems that I don't tamp properly in the center. Do I have to use a smaller tamper?

578daa44648401cdb26c1f58161ce67b I also purchased the single basket and my 58mm tamper bottoms out. I think I read that you need to step down to a smaller size on one of the message boards. BTW, I have found that I don't even want to use the single any more after I got used to caps and lattes made the right way with a doubleshot and 8oz steamed milk poured into a standard US 10oz coffee cup. Using the single makes my drink too weak. 11-01-13 04:24PM

0d987e9950e6af388ab6f05baf7e019e Are you using and convex or flat tamper? I wonder if a convex would work better for a single shot basket. 11-01-13 04:24PM
